Policy

The Policy section of INNOVATIONS provides a venue to posit, provide innovative thoughts and
perspectives on past, present, or future policy matters within the profession of pharmacy. As the
profession continues to evolve, we invite students, post-graduate trainees, and practitioners to
submit policy papers focused on, but not limited to:

  • Innovative policy ideas to advance the profession of pharmacy, pharmacists’ role in public health, and patient advocacy;
  • Dissection and analysis of policy through the lens of equity;
  • Perspectives on policies that address social determinants of health and structural racism within our profession as well as ways in which pharmacists can help dismantle structural racism;
  • Any other perspectives on considerations for policy for our profession and pharmacists’ role in patient care.

To learn more about papers of interest and our review criteria, we invite you to read our submission policies.
