Abstract

As an experimental high-energy physicist, Professor Ken Heller’s job is to challenge our notions of the universe. Ken has done just that at the University of Minnesota, working with Fermilab and dozens of other institutions in the United States and abroad. His work takes him to two frontiers: one is the subatomic, involving the miniscule particles that make up all matter, and the other is physics education research, exploring how best to teach the next generation of physicists.
