Our Mission

Our journal aspires to be more than a publication—it is a movement dedicated to elevating the voices, experiences, and intellectual contributions of international graduate students within CEHD and beyond.

Success for us is defined by how widely and meaningfully our work circulates: from faculty syllabi to classroom discussions, from CEHD to global academic communities. We envision our journal being read, cited, taught, and referenced, becoming an integral part of scholarly conversations in education.

As a graduate student-run initiative, we are committed to building leadership capacity and planning for long-term sustainability through intentional succession planning. Our model draws inspiration from respected publications, led by doctoral students, but recognized as a significant contributor to the field of education.

We will launch with select papers from the CEHD International Student Colloquium and grow into a fully established journal, open to broader submissions. We aim to create a rigorous yet supportive publishing process, allowing authors to refine their scholarship while advancing their academic and professional journeys. The journal will also record our shared learning and career development—capturing the process, not just the product.

By encouraging faculty engagement, expanding circulation, and championing a global perspective, we seek to amplify the research and reflections of international students, ensuring that their stories, insights, and innovations shape the future of education.
