About the Journal

The Journal of Regional Medical Campuses (JRMC) seeks to serve as the pre-eminent journal for regional medical campuses. Regional medical campuses serve the medical school community by providing unique environments for education, physician workforce development, community engagement and research.

We wish to highlight and disseminate timely topics and research from the growing community of regional campuses. Topics central to the work of regional campuses include administrative relationships with primary campuses, accreditation challenges, faculty development and promotion and tenure processes. Scholarship and research in regional campuses occurs in domains of curricular innovation, public and behavioral health, bench and translational research, and innovative healthcare delivery. By providing a platform for sharing best practices and scholarship, we hope to improve the learning and working environment of regional campuses.
