Abstract

WSU faculty who have been developing and teaching online courses for several years will share their expertise in quality online course design, student friendly navigation, technology-enhanced learning, student engagement (particularly with adult online learners/ returning students), and assessment. This session will focus on showing how effective course design can simultaneously enhance the process of meeting Quality Matters Standards, as well as increasing student engagement and learning. Participants will get a peek inside QM recognized courses and will receive tips and ideas on how to design a more effective online course.
