Come experience quick online and app-based formative assessment and quizzing options on your iPad, Chromebook, or other mobile devices and learn how to engage your students and gauge their understanding of your lesson or class material. Session participants will learn about specific apps and online tools and how to repurpose other apps and online interactive tools to create collaborative learning opportunities that will allow you to gauge student learning on the spur of the moment or designed in advance and incorporated in a learning management system.

Chris Turnbull
Chris has been a technology integration and personalized learning specialist at the district level for the past 14 years and has been exploring various forms of flipped professional development delivery for the past five years as well as teaching teachers how to create flipped content for students in and beyond the classroom. She has been working with ways to implement iPads as a learning and teaching tool in the classroom for the past 4 years and helped roll out over 40,000 iPads in a 1:1 PreK-12 implementation. She is a regular presenter on a variety of technology integration topics at the TIES and ISTE conferences, K12 Online Conference, has delivered a TEDx Talk on creating 21st century classrooms that enable students to be Real World Ready and an ISTE Ignite talk about empowering students with iPads.
