Impact of Training and Course Reviews on Faculty and Student Satisfaction

Abstract
Our college has a graduate program where most courses are offered in a blended format with three in class sessions and the rest of the course is taught online. To ensure that courses provided the best possible quality of instruction we could offer students courses have been developed using Quality Matters online course development rubrics. Faculty have been provided opportunities to participate in QM workshops with follow up internal course design workshops. To determine whether these efforts were having the desired impact a research project was conducted to determine the impact on faculty and student satisfaction. This presentation will provide a summary of research project data and results and the affect that both workshops and quality reviews have had on faculty, students and standards of course design within the college.
