Abstract
Educators are faced with an increasing number of choices regarding the tools necessary to deliver online education. Online proctoring solutions have become a must-have for many reasons, but at the top of the list are “anytime-anywhere” convenience and the ability to assure the integrity of the academic credit earned by online/hybrid students. This talk will cover the key issues to consider when creating an online proctored examination. Addressing more than just the technological concerns, this presentation will also explore the policies, practices, and pedagogical aspects of implementing an online proctoring solution.

Mark's work at College of Continuing Education (CCE) primarily focuses on STEM courses and the unique challenge these domains pose to online learners. Prior to joining the Instructional Design team in the CCE I taught Mathematics and Statistics at the collegiate level in Minnesota and California.
