Abstract
The 3-page paper doesn’t have to be the only measure of student mastery. Join us for a quick discussion of how tired, old writing assignments can be modified to give students a choice in how they demonstrate their newly acquired knowledge. We will look at how shooting and editing a video on a tablet can replace some of the written pieces in your class without sacrificing rigor. Students love the chance to have options in submitting their work and you will get a break from reading all those papers.
