Abstract

UM Psychology, Twin Cities serves more than 1500 majors and has an enrollment of over 10,000 seats per academic year. In order to meet the scheduling demands of students and best utilize the instructional resources of the Department, we began investing in online resources over 10 years ago. Three years ago we developed a completely online health minor. Now, as our program matures, we are beginning to look at next steps: how to leverage our investment in online resources? How to sustain quality going forward? How to navigate a higher ed landscape that is torn between the promise of online learning and a longstanding commitment to brick-and-mortar?
