Abstract
One of our main goals in 21st century education is to instill critical thinking in our students. Whether you work with preschool, K-12, or pre-service teachers, this session will provide you with websites, web tools, and portable apps that help grow students' critical thinking abilities. You will come away with plans to help instill deeper meaning, broaden understanding, develop logic and strategy skills, and produce greater evaluation techniques. Suggestions and samples will be provided for use in all content areas and age levels. Bring your laptop or tablet so you can try out the tools during this session.
Critical thinking is a crucial skill - and one that can be strengthened through technology activities. This session provides a huge number of critical thinking resources for all ages that can be accessed on computers, iPads and other devices.

Laurie Conzemius serves as media specialist and district curriculum integration specialist at Park Rapids Area Schools. She has taught grades 1, 2, 4, kindergarten,k-12 media specialist, & adjunct in Information Media at SCSU. Laurie is on the board of directors of ISTE and a past MEMO president.
